Starbucks is giving away a free short Signature Hot Chocolate to its customers every Saturday and Sunday in December, but there’s a slight catch to “free” because you will need to order a larger handcrafted drink to get one.
The definition of a handcrafted drink is one that is made by Starbucks baristas so you won’t get the free hot chocolate by ordering a brewed hot or iced coffee or buy a ready-to-drink pre-packaged beverage. The deal is available in-store or in the drive-thru and is limited to one free hot chocolate per order. In addition, if you place your order on the Starbucks app it’s not eligible.
The Starbucks free short Signature Hot Chocolate offer is good on Saturday and Sunday, December 16 and 17; Saturday and Sunday, Dec 23 and 24; and Saturday and Sunday, Dec 30 and 31.
The chain has also announced a Festive Thurs-Yays promotion for Starbucks Rewards members that offers a 50% discount on all handcrafted drinks from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday afternoons of December 14, 21 and 28. The deal is available at participating U.S. Starbucks locations with a limit of one handcrafter drink per Starbucks Rewards member per week.
