Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton are friends - and sometimes friends, well, fib to each other. "The Voice" co-judges got into it a little on this week's episode, and Kelly - who has apparently had enough of BS's BS - decided to put Blake's lies to the test. Literally.
Rolling out a lie detector (that was conveniently attached to a big lighted screen) Kelly quizzed the country singer - first asking him if "Blake Shelton" was his name - and when he said "yes", the lie detector determined that was a true statement. And off they went.
Follow-up questions included if Blake "blocked" Kelly this season, to which he hedged, saying he didn't remember - and THAT was determined to be a lie. Then she asked the big question: "Am I truly your favorite coach?" to which Blake responded, "Absolutely. Yup." - and (as Maury Povich would say), "that was a lie." While it was obviously all fun and games, the message was sent: Kelly will not stand for any more of Blake's gaslighting.
