Hopefully, this good news story will put a smile on your face today. “I just couldn't stop thinking about her.” That’s what nine-year-old cat lover Sutter Rowse said after he saw a story about a stray cat that was in dire need of costly surgery. The cat named Hazel was found in a garbage dump with a broken hip. But Sutter knew if there was anything that could get community members to empty their pockets, it would be his mom’s cinnamon buns. So he and his mom started baking, and 180 cinnamon buns later, they raised $850. And the best part? After Hazel recuperated, Sutter was able to adopt her…so she’s found a home with the boy that saved her.
