A Texas family has given a new meaning to the phrase “eat and run” after they robbed a Waffle House in North Carolina after eating there. The suspects, part of a family of six, entered the restaurant, ate a brief meal, and then one of them pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The suspects left in two vehicles but were arrested by Hillborough Police with assistance from the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service. The suspects have similar outstanding charges from an incident in Minden, Louisiana just a few days before the North Carolina robbery happened.
