During a Michigan state court appearance over Zoom recently, 72-year-old Burhan Chowdhury struggled to breathe as he told the judge he was too weak to clean up the grass in his yard.

District Judge Alexis G. Krot didn’t care, shaming the cancer patient for not keeping his lawn up and telling him “If I could give you jail time on this, I would.” She's the real criminal if you ask me.
