The closures listed below are for construction work, unless otherwise noted. All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary. Thank you for your patience!

 

TRAFFIC ALERT:Full closure of DNT at Tennyson Parkway in Plano scheduled Aug. 11-14A full closure of the DNT between Spring Creek Parkway and State Highway 121 will be scheduled this weekend from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14. Crews will place beams over the DNT for a new Tennyson Parkway bridge. Learn more.

 

Dallas North Tollway (DNT)Now through Aug. 25

  • U-turn lanes at Legacy Drive closed.
  • U-turn lanes at Thoroughfare B, the U-turn area south of Spring Creek Parkway, closed.
  • Left lanes of NB and SB Dallas Parkway (DNT frontage road) between the Parker Road Main Lane Toll Gantry and the Sam Rayburn Tollway closed.

 

Daily through Tuesday, Aug. 15EB and WB right lanes of Parker Road under the DNT closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Daily through Aug. 25U-turn lanes at Spring Creek Parkway closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Daily and nightly through the morning of Monday, Aug. 14

  • The following U-turn lanes closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
    • Trinity Mills Road
    • Arapaho Road
    • Belt Line Road
    • Spring Valley Road
    • Alpha Road
    • Harvest Hill Road
  • Left lane of NB and SB Dallas Parkway between Haverwood Lane and Harvest Hill Road closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

 

Daily and nightly through Aug. 25

  • Two SB left lanes of Dallas Parkway from Tennyson Parkway to Parker Road closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Two NB left lanes of Dallas Parkway from Parker Road to Tennyson Parkway closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

 

Nightly through the morning of Friday, Aug. 11

  • NB and SB left lanes between Mockingbird Lane and Northwest Highway closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • NB left lane from Royal Lane to Interstate 635 closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • SB left lane from Spring Valley Road to Northaven Road closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • SB entrance ramp at Alpha Road closed nightly from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

 

Nightly through the morning of Friday, Aug. 11

  • SB left lane at Panther Creek Parkway closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Maintenance work)
  • NB left lane at Panther Creek Parkway closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Maintenance work)
  • Two NB right lanes at Panther Creek Parkway closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Maintenance work)
  • Two SB left lanes at Panther Creek Parkway closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Maintenance work)

 

Nightly through the morning of Saturday, Aug. 12All lanes of Thoroughfare B, the U-turn south of Spring Creek Parkway underneath the DNT, closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Detour for WB traffic: Motorists will turn right on NB Dallas Parkway and make a left onto Spring Creek Parkway. Motorists will then make another left on SB Dallas Parkway, continue on to your destination.

Detour for EB traffic: Motorists will turn right on SB Dallas Parkway and make a left onto Windhaven Parkway. Motorists will then make another left on NB Dallas Parkway, continue on to your destination.

 

Nightly through the morning of Saturday, Aug. 12SB Parker Road entrance ramp closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

 

Nightly through the morning of Saturday, Aug. 12

  • All lanes of EB Inwood Road, under the DNT bridge, closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • All lanes of EB and WB Forest Lane, under the DNT bridge, closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

EB Inwood Road detour: Motorists will make a U-turn, head south on Inwood Road, make a right onto Forest Lane and make another right onto Welch Road. Motorists will then make a right on Harvest Hill Road.

EB Forest Lane detour: Motorists will turn right onto Eastern Avenue, make a left onto Northmoor Drive and then make another left onto Inwood Road. Motorists will make a left onto Northaven Road, then make another left onto Quincy Lane and continue north to Forest Lane.

WB Forest Lane detour: Motorists will turn right onto Quincy Lane, then make another right onto Brookstown Drive and turn left onto Nuestra Drive to Harvest Hill Road. Motorists will then make a left onto Harvest Hill Road, turn left on Inwood Road and continue to Forest Lane.

 

Nightly through the morning of Monday, Aug. 14The following entrance and exit ramps closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

  • SB Keller Springs Road entrance and exit ramps closed.
  • SB Belt Line Road entrance and exit ramps closed.
  • SB Spring Valley Road exit ramp closed.
  • SB Alpha Road entrance and exit ramps closed.
  • NB Spring Valley Road entrance and exit ramps closed.
  • NB entrance ramp from Quorum Drive/Verde Valley Lane closed.
  • NB Belt Line Road entrance and exit ramps closed.
  • NB Keller Springs Road entrance and exit ramps closed.

 

Nightly through the morning of Monday, Aug. 14NB right lane from Harvest Hill Road to Briargrove Lane closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • NB right lane between the Parker Road Main Lane Toll Gantry and the SRT closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • SB right lane between the SRT and the Parker Road Main Lane Toll Gantry closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • NB Spring Creek Parkway exit ramp closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
  • SB Spring Creek Parkway exit ramp closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
  • NB entrance ramp from Spring Creek Parkway closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • NB Headquarters Drive exit ramp closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • SB entrance ramp from Spring Creek Parkway closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • SB entrance ramp from Legacy Drive closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • NB Legacy Drive exit ramp closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Two NB right lanes between the Parker Road Main Lane Toll Gantry and the SRT closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. One lane will remain open to traffic.
  • Two SB right lanes between the SRT and the Parker Road Main Lane Toll Gantry closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. One lane will remain open to traffic.
  • NB DNT to NE-B and SW-B SRT direct-connector ramps closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Detour: Motorists will exit at Headquarters Drive/SH 121, continue north to SH 121, turn east or west and continue on the frontage road to enter SRT.

 

Nightly through the morning of Aug. 31SB right lane from Trinity Mills Road to Harvest Hill Road closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

 

Friday, Aug. 11, through the morning of Monday, Aug. 14 (Continuous closure)The following closures are scheduled for work on the Tennyson Parkway bridge at the DNT:

9-11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11

  • Two NB lanes of the DNT from the Spring Creek Parkway exit to the Headquarters Drive entrance ramp
  • Two SB lanes of the DNT from Gaylord Parkway to the Spring Creek Parkway entrance ramp

11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14 (Continuous closure)

  • All NB lanes of the DNT from the Spring Creek Parkway exit to the Headquarters Drive entrance ramp
  • All SB lanes of the DNT from Gaylord Parkway to the Spring Creek Parkway entrance ramp
  • SW-B and NE-B SRT direct-connector ramps to SB DNT
  • NB DNT direct-connector ramps to SW-B and NE-B SRT
  • NB entrance ramps from Windhaven Parkway and Spring Creek Parkway
  • NB exit ramps at Legacy Drive and Headquarters Drive
  • SB entrance ramps from Gaylord Parkway, SH 121 and Legacy Drive
  • SB exit ramps to Legacy Drive and Spring Creek Parkway

 

Long-term closures

  • NB Dallas Parkway between Plano Parkway and the Park Boulevard exit ramp reduced to one lane.
  • SB Dallas Parkway from south of the entrance ramp from Park Boulevard to Plano Parkway reduced to one lane.
  • NB entrance ramp from Parker Road closed. This ramp is being relocated and will reopen to traffic in fall.
  • SB entrance ramp from Windhaven Parkway closed. This ramp is being relocated and will reopen to traffic in late 2017.
  • SB entrance ramp from Trinity Mills Road closed for several months. Motorists can enter the DNT from the entrance ramps at Keller Springs or Frankford roads.

 

President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT)Daily through Friday, Aug. 11 EB left lane from Jupiter Road to the Shiloh Road Main Lane Toll Gantry closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

 

Wednesday, Aug. 9, through the morning of Thursday, Aug. 10 (Overnight)

  • Two EB right lanes from Alma Road to Brand Road closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, through 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10. (Maintenance work)
  • EB exit ramp to North Garland Avenue closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, through 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10. (Maintenance work)

 

Thursday, Aug. 10NB left lane from Royal Lane to Las Colinas Boulevard closed from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
