Easter is coming up, and you are wondering what exactly to put in the basket this year. Well, shelters all over the country are urging parents NOT to get a real bunny. According to Friends of Unwanted Rabbits (FUR), 95% of "Easter Bunnies" do not make it to the age of one.
Rabbits are also very high maintenance and are typically a 10-year committment. Children tend to lose interest in their live, furry friends quickly and then those bunnies, are returned to shelters.
