This 19th century ghost town in California called Cerro Gordo was just for sale.
Brent Underwood bought it for $1.4 million!
According to a property listing, the asking price for Cerro Gordo is $925,000!
The sale officially closed on Friday the 13th, just to add to the spookiness.
Cerro Gordo currently has 22 structures remaining including an abandoned hotel, church and bunkhouse.
The mining town occupies over 300 acres of land and has been in the family for a while now but it was time to sell it.
At one point in time it was the largest producer of silver and lead in California.
Underwood said he was interested in the town for the purpose of maintaining an interesting part of American history.
He plans to renovate a select number of the existing buildings to a point where people would be comfortable staying for a long period of time.
His plan is to create an experience that's available no where else!
