What's Happening in San Antonio This Week - 10/3/22

Hellooooo, October! The first full week offers live music, an art fest, a food fest, and so much more. Plus, you can look to the future with our 50 Things to Do this month.

Knocked Loose @ Vibes Event Center (Tuesday). Hardcore punk/metalcore band Knocked Loose is returning to town for another rager at Vibes. Special guests Bitter End and Creeping Death will be opening.

"Weird Al" Yankovic @ Majestic Theatre (Tuesday). Song parody comedian and musician "Weird Al" Yankovic is bringing his latest tour Unfortunate Return of the Ill-Advised Vanity to the historic Majestic Theatre stage with special guest Emo Philips.

Flatland Cavalry @ The Backyard (Friday). Country music's TX sextet Flatland Cavalry is taking its talents to one of the top live music venues, The Backyard Amphitheater. 

Manchester Orchestra @ Aztec Theatre (Friday). Hard hitting alt-rock band Manchester Orchestra plus openers Petey and Creeks are landing at the Aztec Theatre this Friday. We also have a pair of tickets up for grabs!

John Mulaney @ The Tobin Center (Friday). Award-winning comedian, writer, and actor John Mulaney has a new stand-up tour From Scratch headed to The Tobin Center this weekend.

Fuerza Regida @ Freeman Coliseum (Friday). Mexican regional outfit Fuerza Regida will be delivering its Sinaloan "requinto urbano" style to the Freeman Coliseum with special guest Calle 24.

Barbacoa & Big Red Festival @ R&J Music Pavilion. This weekend's 2-day Barbacoa & Big Red Festival returns for its 10th edition with lots of food by local vendors, fun, and live music across three stages. Kids 12 and under get in for free.  

Chalk It Up Festival @ Houston Street (Saturday). One of the city's biggest contemporary art festivals that turns downtown into a giant chalk canvas, Chalk It Up, is back this Saturday. Participants are invited to unleash their creativity, plus enjoy a mural competition, food trucks, live music, and more.

Gabriel Iglesias @ AT&T Center (Saturday). Comedian Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias is bringing his all-new Back On Tour performance to the AT&T arena for one night only. Limited tickets are still available.

Haus of Erotique: Cirque Erotique @ Brick at Blue Star Arts Complex (Sunday). The performers of Haus of Erotique are throwing Le Cirque Erotique, an all-female cast of sideshow and burlesque acts featuring magicians, snake charmers, fire eaters, and more.
