Ways to Fall Back Asleep When You Wake Up at Night

I'm a light sleeper. On top of that, when I wake up, it takes forever for me to get back to sleep. It's no fun. I have a list of things that can help you get back to sleep:

1. Use deep breathing

2. Try guided sleep meditations and muscle relaxation

3. Stop the blame game

4. Avoid clock watching

5. Don't drink alcohol before bed

6. Write down your worries

7. Beware of blue light and stimulation

8. Get up after 20 minutes

I personally like to listen to an audio book. So whatever you use, here's to better sleep!
