Texas is getting back on its feet after recent winter storms, but millions of people are still without safe drinking water. If you live in North Texas, check the status of the water in your city below and where to find free water.

Aledo: Under a boil water notice.

Anna: Under a boil water notice since Tuesday.

Arlington: Under a boil water alert.

Benbrook: Water is OK to drink.

Dallas County: Residents are asked to conserve water.

Dalworthington Gardens: Under a boil water notice. Pleasantview Baptist Church will distribute water starting at 1 p.m. on Friday.

Denton: Under a boil water notice. The Denton County Brewing Company is giving away water from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.

Fort Worth: North and West Fort Worth are under a boil water notice. The city is giving water bottles to those who need it. A full list of water distribution locations can be found at fortworthtexas.gov.

Grand Prairie: Residents asked to conserve water.

Haslet: Under a boil water notice.

Irving: Residents asked to conserve water.

Johnson County: Under a boil water notice. Check the Johnson County Emergency Management Facebook page for the latest on where water will be distributed.

Keller: Under a boil water notice since Tuesday. Milestone Church will distribute water bottles starting at 1 p.m. on Friday.

Kemp: Under a boil water notice. Drinking water will be distributed to current water customers at Kemp City Hall starting at 3 p.m. on Friday.

Kenndale: Under a boil water notice since Wednesday.

Lake Worth: Under a boil water notice. The city will share where residents can get free water on its Facebook page.

Lewisville: Residents asked to conserve water.

Mesquite: Under a boil water notice.

Northlake: People who live south of FM 1171 are under a boil water notice.

North Richland Hills: Under a boil water notice.

North Texas Municipal Water District: Customers are asked to conserve water.

Plano: Residents asked to conserve water. Grace Church Plano will be distributing water bottles starting at 11 a.m. on Friday.

Pelican Bay: Under a boil water notice since Wednesday.

Princeton: Water is OK to drink.

Roanoke: Under a boil water notice.

Saginaw: Under a boil water notice.

Southlake: Under a boil water notice.

Trophy Club: Water is OK to drink.

Westlake: Under a boil water advisory.

White Settlement: Water is out due to a water main break.

University Park: Under a boil water notice since Wednesday.
