For more than three decades, Addison Kaboom Town!® has been named among the top fireworks shows in the country. The spectacular show was named the #2 Independence Day fireworks display by Yahoo.com, and is ranked as one of the top 10 fireworks displays in the country by USA Today, the Wall Street Journal,Travel + Leisure Magazine, and the American Pyrotechnic Association.

Please be aware of the below road closures and expect delays day of the event.

Parking along the following roads will be prohibited between 2 am on Wednesday, July 3 and 6 am on Thursday, July 4.

• Quorum Drive from Arapaho Road to Morris Avenue

• Witt Place (south of the parking garage entrance/exit) to Addison Circle Drive

Festival Way from Addison Road to Quorum Drive will close, June 27 at 9 am and will re-open, July 5 by 5 pm.

Addison Circle Drive from Addison Road to Witt Place will close on, July 2 at 8 am and will re-open, July 5 by 9 am.

Quorum Drive from Arapaho Road to Morris Avenue will close on, July 3 at 9 am and will re-open, July 4 by 1 am.

McEntire Place west of Lewis Place to Quorum Drive will close on, July 3 at 9 am and will re-open, July 4 by 1 am.

Spectrum Drive from Arapaho Road to McEntire Place will close on, July 3 at 9 am and will re-open, July 4 by 1 am.

Arapaho Road Bridge will be closed at 1 pm on July 3 and will open after the fireworks show (approximately 10:30 pm).

Addison Airport Tunnel will be one way (westbound on July 3) from approximately 9:30 pm – 11:30 pm. The Town of Addison will pay the tunnel fee for cars during this time period.

Lindbergh Drive will close at approximately 6 pm on July 3 and will open after the fireworks show (approximately 10:30 pm).

Please note: The popularity of the Addison Kaboom Town! fireworks show may cause some traffic delays, specifically following the fireworks show. Spectators are encouraged to remain at their favorite restaurant or stay for the Budweiser After Party to avoid these delays. Those who choose to leave immediately after the fireworks show are to travel as directed for a few miles beyond Addison’s borders before traveling to their desired location.
