Prince's 'Purple Rain' Tour Glove Sells for Big Money

A glove worn by Prince during his "Purple Rain" tour has gone for quite a bit of green.

Nate D. Sanders Auctions has sold a white lace glove the singer wore during a 1984 tour stop in Lexington, Kentucky for $26,121.

Prince wore the glove during the show and he tried to throw it into the crowd when he finished, but it wound up landing in some lighting scaffolding. A contractor for the arena managed to track it down.

Bidding on the glove started at five-thousand dollars.
