As we previously told you, the gals in Fifth Harmony are taking a hiatus in order to concentrate on solo projects, and they aren’t wasting any time with that.
In an interview with Beats 1, Normani Kordei opens up about her solo plans, and admits it’s all a little “scary.” “It’s always kind of scary, especially because for the past six years, Fifth Harmony's all we’ve ever known," Normani says. "So, every time we put something out individually, it’s like, 'Oh shoot! All eyes are on me!'"
Normani says her album is in “the beginning stages,” but she already has a goal in mind for the record. She notes, “I just want this to be an album that completely represents who Normani is. And for some people, it may be the first time."
- Meanwhile, in case you missed it, Lauren Jauregui is featured in the latest edition of “Playboy,” where she opens up about what it was like as a member of the group, noting, “we tried to be ourselves (but) we were also adolescents.” As for her solo plans, she offered, "Right now, I’m just exploring myself and getting in touch with myself creatively… to be real, I don’t want to give myself boundaries."
