Prince Harry is truly in love with Meghan Markle. That’s apparently why he’s forgoing the pleasure of a prenuptial agreement.
The royal is worth an estimated $54-million dollars. Meanwhile, his American bride has about $7-million bucks. As one of his friends allegedly sees it: “There was never any question in Harry’s mind that he would sign a prenup. He’s determined that his marriage will be a lasting one, so there’s no need for him to sign anything.”
For the record, Prince William didn’t sign a prenup when he married Kate Middleton either.
Prince Harry and Meghan will say, “I do,” at Saint George's Chapel on May 19th.
- ONE MORE THING! Speaking of comparisons, to William and Kate, the language in the Queen's royal approval letter was different...but it's not as bad as you think. In both decrees, William and Harry are referred to as "dearly beloved grandson," but while Meghan's simply has her name (Rachel Meghan), Kate's referred to her as "Our Trusty and Well-beloved Catherine." Does this mean that the Queen 'prefers' Kate? Nope. Turns out, "'Trusty' and 'well-beloved' is language reserved for citizens of the UK or Her Majesty’s other realms" and since Meghan's American...well...there you are. No "special language" for her.
- BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley are bringing the royal romance to life in “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.” The Lifetime movie premieres on May 13th, but if you can’t wait, you can check it out the latest trailer on the right.
