Christmas is coming and many children are already writing their letters to Santa, but for one boy, this wasn’t as exciting a prospect as you may think.
Instead of listing his favorite toys or what he wanted as a gift, this child took the time to write to Santa about his “emty” life — and it’s as ridiculous as it sounds.
Radio journalist Sarah McCammon tweeted that her six-year-old son had written a letter to Santa as part of a class project.
As the letter explains, the disgruntled child began by saying he was “only doing this for the class.”
The letter goes as follows:
Dear Santa,
Santa Im only doing this for the class. I know your notty list is empty. And your good list is emty. You dont know the trouble Ive had in my life. Good bye.
Love.
I’m not telling you my name.
The boy’s letter has amassed a legion of fans — with more than 4,000 people retweeting it in the first 12 hours.
Oh, and the troubles in his life? According to his mom, it’s his brother.
