Netflix has cut all ties with Kevin Spacey in the wake of mounting sexual harassment and assault allegations made against him. On Friday, for example, three more accusers were added to his tally.Scotland Yard also revealed they were investigating an incident that took place in London, back in 2008. As a result, production of “House of Cards” will continue for its final season minus Spacey's character, former President Frank Underwood.
“Netflix will not be involved with any further production of ‘House of Cards’ that includes Kevin Spacey,” the production company said. As for future endeavors, execs say they will “continue to evaluate a creative path forward for the program during the hiatus.”
This means Spacey will also miss out on his role in the upcoming Netflix film, "Gore," which was in post-production.
