Lady Gaga was the surprise guest at this weekend’s “Deep from the Heart” concert, a special event put on by the five living former presidents to help raise money for hurricane relief.

One American Appeal, the campaign was launched by Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton, organized the concert, which took place at Texas A&M University and also featured performances by Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, Lee Greenwood, Sam Moore, Cassadee Pope, Yolanda Adams, Stephanie Quayle, and the Gatlins.

Gaga, dressed in a fitted white pants suit, performed “You and I,” “A Million Reasons,” and “Edge of Glory,” and underscored the need for help. She called the night “historic,” adding, “We must help these survivors recover from losing their homes, losing their lives, watching everything get washed away.”  Check out Gaga’s performances to the right, and her picture with the five former presidents here and below.
