Cowboys Top Giants In Opener

WHAT A GAME!

Elliott did carry 24 times for 104-yards and had another five touches for 36-yards, but it was veteran teammate Jason Witten who was the story last night.

The veteran tight end scored the only touchdown of the game—grabbing a 12-yard reception from Dak Prescott late in the second quarter—and later broke the franchise record for yards receiving formerly held by Michael Irvin.

Meanwhile, the Dallas defense shackled a New York offense missing Odell Beckham Jr. as the Cowboys downed the G-men 19-3 in the season opener.

And to be honest, I’m not sure how much he would have helped in this game.
