An 11-year-old from Plano, Texas has found a way to help victims of Hurricane Harvey get back on their feet. Brooke Cobb wants to help them do it in a new pair of shoes.
Cobb founded Harvey Souls, and started a GoFundMe campaign to reach her goal of providing 250 pairs of new shoes to people who’ve lost their belongings in the flooding. So far, she has more than 150 pairs of shoes for folks of all ages and sizes.
"Dear North Texas, Houston needs our help!" Cobb writes on her page. "Let's join together to assist with the relief efforts for those in need.
