“American Idol” has canceled its Texas auditions in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. The rebooted singing competition had planned to stop in Houston on Saturday and San Antonio two days later. The show made its announcement on Twitter yesterday.
Singers in the area were invited to either the September 4th audition in Shreveport, Louisiana or the September 14th one in New Orleans. They can also send in audition videos on the website.
