There's good news and bad news for fans waiting to see their hero, Tom Cruise, and his upcoming "Mission: Impossible 6." The bad news - it looks like his on set injury has sent the production on hiatus. The good news? Paramount says the flick will arrive in theaters on schedule. In a statement, they add, "Tom wants to thank you all for your concern and support and can't wait to share the film with everyone next summer."
As we told you before, Cruise broke his ankle while performing a stunt in London over the weekend while filming - and The Hollywood Reporter is saying it could take up to nine weeks for Cruise to heal and for production to start up again. Check out footage of the accident HERE.
For now, "Mission: Impossible 6" is due to hit theaters on July 27th, 2018.
ONE MORE THING! Filming has resumed yesterday on the set of “Deadpool 2” two days after a stuntwoman was killed filming a motorcycle stunt. To review, Joi “SJ” Harris crashed through the glass of a ground-floor studio earlier this week.
