A mom dropping off her son at summer camp created a lot of buzz this week. That's because the mom is Nicole Samuel – and she dropped off her 20-year-old son Curtis Samuel at his first NFL training camp in Wofford, South Carolina.
Curtis Samuel was the Carolina Panthers' second-round draft pick and social media blew up after video emerged showing him parting ways with his mother before he made his way to the field.
And she didn’t do anything “mom like,” well…other than watching proudly from a distance. Panthers reporter Bill Voth later offered, quote – " Curtis Samuel isn't even 21 yet.His mom drove him to camp — so what? She needed the car back. So he's frugal AND a family kid? I love it." Fair enough.
