It's a mistrial for Bill Cosby. After 52-hours of deliberating, the jury couldn't come back with a unanimous verdict. This isn't the end of Cosby's woes, though. Aside from the 10 or so civil suits waiting for him, prosecutors are vowing to retry the disgraced comedian.
For now, though, Team Cosby is celebrating. “Mr. Cosby’s power is back. It’s back,” his spokesman Andrew Wyatt says. “So the legacy didn’t go anywhere. It has been restored.” Wyatt also got a jab in at Gloria Allred, whose representing multiple of the Cosby accusers, telling her to go back to law school.
Camille Cosby, Bill's wife of more than five decades, also released a sharp statement calling the "general media" "blatantly vicious entities that continually disseminated intentional omissions of truths for the primary purpose of greedily selling sensationalism at the expense of a human life.”
