If you're ever lucky enough to get paid millions for endorsing a product, what's an obvious rule?
Never publicly bash a product you are getting paid MILLIONS of dollars to endorse...
Samsung spokesperson LeBron James must have forgotten this golden rule yesterday when he tweeted out that his Samsung phone had a total meltdown and erased everything on it.
James has been a big Samsung endorser since it released the Galaxy Note II. He's been in numerous Samsung commercials, but this is obviously not the kind of endorsement Samsung is looking for.
James quickly realized his mistake and deleted the tweet a few minutes after posting.
Follow-up tweets ensued as James tried to recover from his blunder:
Close call. Wheew! Got all my info back. Gamer! Lol— LeBron James (@KingJames) March 12, 2014
Unfortunately for James, the internet may forgive but it never forgets.
