When the whole Kevin Spacey accusations first surfaced, that former Boston news anchor Heather Unruh accused him of assaulting a relative. Now she’s saying that loved one in question was her 18-year-old son, according to the police report that was filed last week.
Unruh discussed details of the incident at a press conference yesterday. She says that her son met Spacey at a local restaurant in Nantucket in 2016. Her son had apparently, said he was 21, and Spacey started feeding him drinks. “My son was a star-struck, straight 18-year-old young man,” she offered. "He who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim.
Unruh went on to say that when her son was sufficiently drunk, that Spacey "made his move and sexually assaulted him” by putting his hand in the young man’s pants and grabbing his genitals. According to her, his efforts to shift his body to remove Kevin’s hand were only momentarily successful. “My son panicked, he froze,” she said, “He was intoxicated.” She made it clear that her son did NOT give consent at any time. Police are continuing their investigation as Spacey remains "in treatment" at a facility in Arizona.
