Ezekiel Elliot's Appeal Hearing Heads To A Second Day

Ezekiel Elliott's appeals hearing of his six-game suspension ended yesterday without a resolution and will continue into the second day. The proceedings will more than likely continue into tomorrow as well considering that, according to NFL Media, there is "no end in sight". The ruling is not expected until after Labor Day. If the suspension is upheld—a decision which Elliott's side is expecting—his legal team does have the option of pursuing the case in federal court (much like Tom Brady did with DeflateGate). That would allow Elliott to possibly stave off a suspension this season.
