Justin Bieber Cancels Remainder Of His “Purpose World Tour”

Justin Bieber has just disappointed a lot of fans. The singer has announced that he’s canceling the remainder of his “Purpose World Tour,” which includes a run of North American stadium shows, which were set to kick off this weekend, as well as dates in Asia.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the ‘Purpose’ World Tour concerts,” the star’s rep says in a statement. “Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them…He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run.” The statement continues, “However, after careful consideration, he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

  • Sources tell TMZ Justin decided to cancel because he was “just over it.” Paparazzi later caught up with Justin and he basically admitted he needed a break, noting he was looking forward to “just resting, getting some relaxation. We're gonna ride some bikes." He also apologized to fans, sharing, "I'm sorry for anyone who feels, like, disappointed or betrayed, it's not in my heart or anything and have a blessed day." • Another source reiterated that message to Entertainment Tonight, noting, “This is a guy who has had 150 shows on this tour, on six continents, over the last year and half and he’s tired,” adding, “He needed a break and as much as he didn’t want to disappoint his fans, the best decision for him was to cancel the remaining tour dates.”
  • Needless to say, Bieliebers were not at all happy with the latest news and took to social media to vent. Among the reactions:
