Kenny G Entertains Travelers On Delta Flight

Most people on flights are used to watching movies on little screens or reading a book to pass the time, but flyers on a Delta flight from Tampa Bay to Los Angeles wound up getting their very own private concert.

In case you missed it, saxophonist Kenny G was on the flight and found out that the off-duty flight attendant sitting next to him was trying to raise $1,000 for the Delta G.O. Relay for Life in honor of her daughter, who had died after a battle with brain cancer. While Kenny could have just written her a check, instead he offered the cabin a free concert if they passed the flight attendant’s goal and in about five minutes they had $2,000 for the American Cancer Society.

A man of his word, Kenny then broke out his sax and walked up and down the aisles performing for travelers.
